Inner City Metals runs two yards across Melbourne — Abbotsford in the inner city, and Laverton North in the west — so most of Melbourne is within reach of one or the other.
Which yard handles your job usually comes down to where you are and what you’re bringing in. Below are the three areas we work in most, with the pricing, bin sizes and logistics that actually apply in each.
Our Two Yards
Both yards run the same scales, rates and same-day payment — which one handles your job depends on location and load size:
- Abbotsford — 1 Lithgow St, Abbotsford VIC 3067, our original yard, best for drop-offs and smaller inner-city loads
- Laverton North — 5 Holcourt Rd, Laverton North VIC 3026, bigger yard, best for bulk and industrial jobs
- Both yards: Mon–Fri 8am–4pm, Sat 8am–12pm, Sun closed

Where We Don't Go
- We're Melbourne-based and we service Melbourne — we don't currently run collections into regional Victoria or interstate. If you're outside the three areas above, give us a call before you book; we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth the trip.
